Location
Clausen, Luxembourg City. Valley living with the old brewery quarter and Kirchberg a short climb away.
Clausen sits in the Alzette valley east of the Grund, below the Ville Haute and under the Kirchberg plateau. The former brewery site has been converted into the Rives de Clausen, and the rest of the quarter is a mix of old valley houses, converted industrial buildings and newer apartments on the slopes.

Everyday shopping and food
A small supermarket and bakeries cover everyday needs in the valley, with the fuller offer in the Ville Haute above or on Kirchberg, both a few minutes away by bus or lift.
Banking, post and administration
Clausen belongs to the commune of Luxembourg City. Registration and communal services are handled at the Bierger-Center in the Ville Haute, and the nearest concentration of banks and post offices is in the centre or on Kirchberg.
Shops and services
Everyday services are shared with the neighbouring valley quarters, while the Rives de Clausen site holds offices, gyms and event spaces as well as its evening venues.
Transport and connections
City buses run along the valley to Hamilius, the station and up to Kirchberg. The Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg station and funicular connect to the tram and the national rail network, and the walk up to Kirchberg through the park is realistic in good weather.
Eating out and evenings
The Rives de Clausen is the principal late-night cluster in the capital, with bars, restaurants and clubs in the converted brewery buildings. Streets uphill and east of the site are markedly quieter, and the distinction matters when choosing an address here.
Green space and walks
The Alzette path runs from the valley towards Pfaffenthal and the Grund, and the Dräi Eechelen park on the plateau above gives an easy green route up to Kirchberg.

What exactly is included in the rent?
The monthly figure covers heating, electricity, water, high-speed internet, building charges and the cleaning of the common areas. There is no separate utility bill to open in your name and no annual reconciliation at the end of the year.
Is there a minimum rental period?
The rental period is agreed case by case. Tell us how long you expect to stay, including if the answer is that you do not yet know, and we will tell you straight away whether the studio works for that.
Is the studio furnished?
Yes, and it is ready to use on the first day.
What deposit will I be asked for?
A rental guarantee is paid before the keys are handed over. The amount is set in the lease, within the limit fixed by Luxembourg law, and is returned after the departure inventory once any agreed deductions are settled.
Which documents do I need to apply?
An identity document, proof of income such as an employment contract or your two most recent payslips, and, for non-EU nationals, the relevant residence document. Nothing else is needed to start.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are considered on request, taking account of the building rules and, in a shared apartment, the other residents.
When can I move in?
